Midterm Assessment: A Community Empowerment Success Story: Nigerian Communities Taking Action to Improve Health and Education”
This report highlights significant impacts in improving health and education in COMPASS communities. It shows that, overall, health service utilization for family planning, antenatal care, facility deliveries, and routine immunization is considerably higher in facilities with Community Coalitions (CCs) and Quality Improvement Teams (QITs) formed by COMPASS than in matched facilities without these community structures.
